Heather received undergraduate degrees from Miami University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University. As the daughter of a veterinarian she developed a love for all the animals that she had early in her life: horses, dogs, cats, birds, fish, cows, chickens, ducks, peacocks, and raccoons. In her professional career Heather worked in the home goods category, spending time at Fortune 500 companies Sherwin-Williams, Moen, and Kichler. These outstanding organizations allowed her to develop her passion for product management, product development, and process management. Her expertise is blending the highest demanded features that marketing requests with those that can be technically obtained at the best price for the consumer, thereby providing the highest ROI for the organization.
Heather joined Fitz Sales & Marketing in 2017. She has contributed to all areas of the business.

Scott Fitzhugh is a pet products sales & marketing professional, strategist and leader who knows how to partner and assist pet products companies and brands to grow revenue, improve inventory levels and create new retail sales partnerships. He has always believed that you simply have to put in the work. Work hard, work with integrity and the results will follow. Scott knows that in order to create strong retailer partnerships, the retail customer has to truly believe you are working hard for them and with their best interests in mind.
Scott received his bachelor degree in business management from Toledo University. He spent nearly a decade working with the OurPet’s Company as vice-president of sales & marketing, leading the company from $4 million in annual revenue to over $20 million while launching hundreds of products during his tenure. After nearly a decade of establishing himself in the pet industry, he made the decision in 2012 to strike out on his own, and he began the Fitz Sales & Marketing firm. In his almost 20 years spent in the pet industry, Scott has had the opportunity to work with a majority of retailers in the U. S. that purchase pet supplies. From the “big box” pet specialty market to the largest mass market, value, grocery and drug retailers, Scott has probably worked with them.
Scott’s strengths are building and fostering relationships, and always looking to balance a “win-win” situation between his clients and the retail teams. He is most proud of maintaining these relationships long term, in an environment where that is an infrequent achievement. A true entrepreneur, Scott is patient with and skilled at the everyday minutia that managing retail accounts brings, as well as presenting innovative long-term strategies that enhance his partnerships.
